BACK OVER PREVENTION:SOFTWARE

Manufacturer
Tesla, Inc.
What Happened
The computer that controls your rearview camera could fail, preventing you from seeing what's behind your vehicle when you're in reverse. This affects certain 2024-2025 Model 3, Model S, 2023-2025 Model X, and Model Y vehicles.
Risk if Unfixed
If the camera image doesn't display, you'll have a reduced view of what's behind your car, which could increase the risk of a collision when you're reversing.
Free Fix
Tesla will send a free software update to fix the issue, and if necessary, they'll also replace a faulty computer at no cost to you. You should check your mailbox for the recall notice and contact Tesla customer service if you have any questions.
