What Happened
The brake control module is a computer that helps your vehicle's brakes work smoothly. In some 2023-2025 BMW and 2024-2025 Rolls-Royce models, this module may not work correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake control module fails, you could lose power brake assist, making it harder to stop your vehicle. This could also cause your vehicle to skid or lose control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW or Rolls-Royce dealer will inspect the brake control system and replace it if needed, free of charge. You'll get a notice by mail on August 21, 2026, and you can contact the dealer to schedule the repair.
