What Happened
The wiring harness under your Sedona's front passenger seat helps the airbag system decide whether to deploy the front passenger airbag. Over time, this harness can break if the seat is occupied, especially by a child in a car seat.
Risk if Unfixed
If the harness breaks, the front passenger airbag could deploy even if a child is sitting in a car seat, which could increase the risk of serious injury to the child.

How to Get This Fixed

Free Fix
Your Kia dealer will remove the wire harness clip to prevent it from breaking, and if the harness is already damaged, they'll replace the front passenger seat cushion – all at no cost to you.
