What Happened
The sunroof drainage system in your Audi Q5 is designed to keep water out of the air bag canister. But in some 2011-2017 models, water can seep in and cause the canister to corrode.
Risk if Unfixed
If the canister corrodes, it could break apart without deploying the air bag, sending sharp metal fragments into the passenger area and putting you and your passengers at risk of serious injury or even death.
