What Happened
The Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system in your 2012-2015 Dodge Journey helps you stay stable and in control while driving. It's a network of sensors and computers that work together to prevent skidding and loss of traction.
Risk if Unfixed
If water gets into the ESC system's wiring, it could disable the system or the Anti-lock Brake System (ABS), making it harder for you to control your vehicle, especially on slippery roads. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Chrysler dealer will seal the wiring harness and replace the ABS module and repair any damaged wiring, all free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
