What Happened
The TPMS sensor is a small device that checks your tire pressure. In your 2008-2010 Nissan, the nut that holds this sensor in place might corrode and crack in areas with lots of road salt.
Risk if Unfixed
If you ignore the low tire pressure warning light and keep driving, your tire will slowly lose air, leading to a flat tire and a higher risk of a crash.
