Component
STEERING:STEERING CONTROL MODULE
Manufacturer
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC)
What Happened
Your vehicle's steering column control module might be sending mixed signals to your headlights. It could flash your high beams when you use your turn signals or vice versa, and it might not cancel your turn signals properly.
Risk if Unfixed
This could cause confusion on the road, making it harder for other drivers to see your signals, which increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
The dealership will update your steering column control module software for free and replace the module if needed. You'll get a letter about this on December 19, 2023, but you can also call FCA US, LLC at 1-800-853-1403.
