What Happened
The windshield and rear window on your 911 are the glass pieces that protect you from the elements. In some 2020-2024 models, these parts weren't attached properly and could come loose while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the windshield detaches during a crash, it could compromise the air bags' ability to work properly, increasing the risk of serious injury.
Free Fix
Your authorized Porsche dealer will inspect and replace the windshield and rear window if necessary, all at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2024 911 vehicles. The front windshield and rear window may not be properly secured and can detach.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
During air bag deployment, an unsecured windshield may not support the front air bags as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield and rear window as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 30, 2024. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARA3.
