What Happened
The front and rear window in your 911 are attached with special clips. In some 2020-2024 models, these clips might not be secure, which could cause the windows to come loose.
Risk if Unfixed
If your windshield comes loose during an air bag deployment, it might not be able to protect you from the air bags as it should. This could lead to injuries in a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Porsche dealer will inspect and replace the windshield and rear window if needed, at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020-2024 911 vehicles. The front windshield and rear window may not be properly secured and can detach.

During air bag deployment, an unsecured windshield may not support the front air bags as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the windshield and rear window as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 30, 2024. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ARA3.
