Component
TIRES:TREAD/BELT
Manufacturer
Mazda North American Operations
What Happened
The tires on your 2019 CX-9 have a special rubber compound that might not be as strong as it should be. This means the tread on your tires could separate and come loose while driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the tread separates, you could lose control of your vehicle, especially on the highway or in an emergency stop. This could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your Mazda dealer will check the serial numbers on all four tires and replace any that are affected with new ones, all at no cost to you.
