What Happened
The brake lamp switch in your vehicle might not work properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, your brake lights won't turn on when you press the brake pedal, which could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Dealers will replace the brake lamp switch for free. You should contact INFINITI at 1-800-662-6200 to schedule the repair.

ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES, THE BRAKE LAMP SWITCH MAY MALFUNCTION.

IF THIS OCCURS, THE BRAKE LIGHTS WILL NOT ILLUMINATE WHEN THE BRAKE IS APPLIED, WHICH COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
Original — Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE BRAKE LAMP SWITCH. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 25, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT INFINITI AT 1-800-662-6200.
