What Happened
The wiring in your vehicle's rear HVAC system is designed to control the air flow. However, if you leave the blower motor circuit unused, it can corrode and overheat.

If the wiring overheats, it could catch fire, which can cause serious damage to your vehicle and potentially put you and others at risk.
Free Fix
Your Chevrolet or GMC dealer will seal the affected wiring to prevent overheating, and this repair is completely free. You should schedule the fix as soon as possible after receiving the recall notice.
