Component
TIRES
Manufacturer
General Motors, LLC
What Happened
The tires on your vehicle are the rubber rings that connect the wheel to the hub. In certain models, the curing process may have gone on too long, weakening the sidewall.
Risk if Unfixed
If the sidewall of your tire breaks, you could lose air pressure, or the tread could separate from the belt. Either way, you might lose control of your vehicle, which could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your dealer will check your tires and replace them if necessary, all at no cost to you. You should schedule the inspection and replacement as soon as you get the recall notice.
