What Happened
The wiring in your Express Cutaway or Savana Cutaway is the electrical pathway that powers the rear air conditioning and heating system. In some cases, if you leave the air conditioning off for a while, the exposed wiring can corrode and overheat.
Risk if Unfixed
If the wiring overheats, it could cause a fire, which could result in serious damage to your vehicle.
Free Fix
Your dealer will seal the wiring at the left side B-pillar to prevent overheating, and this repair will be done at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
