What Happened
The seat frame in your Bronco is held together by a critical bolt that can come loose over time. This bolt keeps your seat securely attached to the floor and frame of your vehicle.
Risk if Unfixed
If the bolt comes loose, your seat might not keep you safe in a crash. In a severe collision, you could be at risk of serious injury because you won't be properly restrained.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts for your seat, if necessary, at no cost to you. This repair is completely free, so schedule it as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco vehicles. The front seats may have a loose or dislodged seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt.

A seat with a dislodged bolt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the pivot links and bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25SB5. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 28, 2025.
