What Happened
The rear shock absorbers in your Bronco help your vehicle absorb bumps and keep you stable on the road. In some 2021-2024 models, these absorbers can corrode and break, causing the external reservoir to fall off.
Risk if Unfixed
If the external reservoir detaches from your vehicle, it could become a hazard on the road, potentially causing a crash if another driver hits it.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will replace the rear shock absorbers with new ones, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice, and it's free.
