What Happened
Your 2023-2024 Bronco 4-door vehicle has a problem with the rear door child safety lock. The lock might not work properly, allowing the door to open from the inside when it's supposed to be locked.
Risk if Unfixed
If the child safety lock doesn't work right, a rear door could open while you're driving, increasing the risk of injury to you or a passenger.
Free Fix
Ford will inspect and replace the rear door latch if needed, for free. They'll do this at a dealership of your choice, and they'll let you know when it's done.

Original — What Happened
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Bronco 4-door vehicles. The left-side rear door may be opened from the inside of the vehicle when the child safety lock is in the "ON" position.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A malfunctioning child safety lock that allows a rear door to be opened unintentionally can increase the risk of injury.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect the child safety locks and replace the rear door latch, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 9, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S15.
