What Happened
The steering knuckle is a crucial part that connects your steering system to your wheels. In some cases, the steering knuckle in your vehicle may be faulty and could break, especially in the hub area.
Risk if Unfixed
If the steering knuckle breaks, you could lose control of your vehicle and crash without any warning. This is a serious safety risk.
Free Fix
Your dealership will replace the defective steering knuckle for free, and they'll also reimburse you for any labor costs. You should contact your dealership as soon as possible to schedule the repair.

Original — What Happened
DORMAN IS RECALLING 979 STEERING KNUCKLES, DORMAN P/NOS. 697-902 AND 697-903, SOLD UNDER DORMAN'S "OE SOLUTIONS<SUP>TM</SUP>" BRAND NAME, AND NAPA P/NOS. 7-8502 AND 7-8503 WHICH WERE SOLD FOR REPLACEMENT USE ON THE VARIOUS VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. A POTENTIAL MATERIAL OR DESIGN DEFECT COULD RESULT IN THE STEERING KNUCKLE BREAKING IN THE HUB AREA.

A BROKEN STEERING KNUCKLE COULD RESULT IN LOSS OF STEERING CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE CRASH WITHOUT WARNING.
Original — Remedy
