SUSPENSION:FRONT:CONTROL ARM:LOWER ARM

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The front lower-left control arm in your vehicle is a critical part that helps stabilize your steering and suspension. It's possible that the metal on this arm wasn't hardened properly during manufacturing.
Risk if Unfixed
If the control arm breaks while you're driving, your vehicle's handling could be severely affected, making it harder to steer or brake. This could increase the risk of a crash, especially if you're driving at high speeds or in emergency situations.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will inspect the control arm and replace it if needed, at no cost to you.
