EXTERIOR LIGHTING:HEADLIGHTS

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The headlight low beam attachment points on your motorcycle are the parts that hold the reflector in place. In some 2021-2024 BMW R 18B and R 18 Transcontinental models, these attachment points can break, causing the reflector to shift and reduce the light output.
Risk if Unfixed
If your headlight isn't shining brightly, you might have trouble seeing the road ahead, especially at night. This could also cause glare for other drivers coming towards you, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the headlamp assembly with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice in the mail.
