What Happened
The integrated brake system in your vehicle is like a computer that helps you stop quickly and safely. In certain BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce models from 2023 to 2025, this system could break down and leave you without power brake assist or proper ABS and DSC function.
Risk if Unfixed
If the system fails, you'll lose power brake assist, making it harder to stop your vehicle. This could also cause your ABS and DSC systems to malfunction, making it harder to control your vehicle. Either issue increases the risk of a crash, especially on slippery roads or when sudden stops are needed.
Free Fix
Your authorized BMW, MINI, or Rolls-Royce dealer will replace the faulty integrated brake system with a new one, at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice in the mail.

Original — What Happened
BMW of North America, LLC. (BMW) is recalling certain 2023-2025 BMW, MINI, and Rolls-Royce vehicles. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models and model years. The integrated brake (IB) system may malfunction and result in a loss of power brake assist or cause the Antilock Brake (ABS) and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) systems to not function properly.
Original — Risk if Unfixed
A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required to stop the vehicle. Additionally, malfunctioning ABS and/or DSC systems can cause a loss of vehicle control. Either of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will replace the integrated brake system, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed between June and December 2024. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417 or Rolls Royce customer service at 1-877-877-3735.
