Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The taillight on the driver's side of your vehicle is a critical safety feature that helps other drivers see you. In some 2013-2015 BMW models, the replacement taillight may not be functioning correctly, which could make your car harder to spot in low light conditions.
Risk if Unfixed
If the taillight isn't working as it should, other drivers may have a harder time seeing your vehicle at night, which could lead to a collision.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will inspect your taillight and replace it with a correctly functioning one, at no cost to you. You'll get a notification when the repair is ready, and you should schedule it as soon as possible.
