EXTERIOR LIGHTING

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The left rear taillight on your vehicle is a critical safety light that helps other drivers see you from behind. Unfortunately, some 2013-2015 BMW 7-series models received a faulty replacement for this light.
Risk if Unfixed
If the faulty taillight is not fixed, it could be harder for other drivers to see you, increasing the risk of a collision, especially at night or in low-light conditions.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will inspect the taillight and replace it with a correct one, free of charge. You should schedule this repair as soon as you get the recall notice.

Vehicles with the incorrect left rear lamp assemblies may be less conspicuous to other drivers, possibly increasing the risk of a crash.
