Component
EXTERIOR LIGHTING
Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
Your vehicle's rear reflex reflectors help make your car visible to other drivers at night or in low-light conditions. Unfortunately, the reflectors in your 2013 5-series might not be working properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the reflectors aren't functioning, your car could be harder to see, increasing the risk of a crash — especially in the dark or at night.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will replace the faulty reflectors with new ones, and this service will be done for free. You'll get a notification with instructions on when and where to take your vehicle for the repair.
