ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:WIRING:FUSES AND CIRCUIT BREAKERS

Manufacturer
BMW of North America, LLC
What Happened
The special wire that brings power to your car's electrical systems, like headlights and radio, is connected to a small box called the fuse box. In some 2008-2011 BMW M3 models, this connection can wear out over time, causing power to flicker.
Risk if Unfixed
If the power to your car's electrical systems fails, it could cause your vehicle to stall, especially while driving on the highway. This increases the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your BMW dealer will fix the problem by replacing and securing the connection between the battery and the fuse box, all for free. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.
