What Happened
The master cylinder is a critical safety component that helps control your brakes. It's like a pressure regulator that ensures your brake fluid stays in the system. In certain master cylinders made by Cardone, the seal can fail and let brake fluid leak out.
Risk if Unfixed
If your brake fluid leaks, you could experience poor braking performance, which could lead to a vehicle crash. This is a serious situation where you might not be able to stop your vehicle in time.
Free Fix
Cardone will replace your faulty master cylinder with a new one, or give you a refund for the defective one, free of charge. You'll be notified, but you can also contact Cardone directly at 1-800-777-4780 to check on the status of your recall.
