What Happened
The front suspension strut in your Audi E-Tron GT is a critical part that helps your car corner smoothly and maintain its height. The retaining ring on top of the strut might not be secure, which could cause air to leak out.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air suspension strut fails, your vehicle's handling and stability will be severely compromised. This could make it difficult to steer and control your car, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your authorized Audi dealer will inspect the strut and replace it if necessary, completely free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2022 Audi E-Tron GT vehicles. A retaining ring on top of the suspension strut may come loose, resulting air loss from the strut spring.

An air suspension strut failure may cause a loss of vehicle handling and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Original — Remedy
Dealers will inspect the suspension strut and replace it, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed February 10, 2023. Owners may contact Audi's customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 42M4.
