BACK OVER PREVENTION: SENSING SYSTEM: CAMERA

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The rearview camera system in your vehicle is a safety feature that helps you see what's behind your car when you're in reverse. In some 2019-2026 models, a software glitch might make the camera image not show up on your screen.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera image doesn't display while you're reversing, you'll have a limited view of what's behind your vehicle. This could increase your risk of a crash, especially when backing up in crowded areas or near obstacles.
Free Fix
Your authorized Audi dealer will update the camera system's software to fix the issue, at no cost to you. Schedule the update as soon as you receive the recall notice, and you'll have a working rearview camera system again.
