LANE DEPARTURE:SOFTWARE

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The lane departure warning system in your Audi is a feature that alerts you if you drift out of your lane. But in some 2019 Audi Q8, A7, and A6 models, the software controlling this system isn't working properly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the lane departure warning system is deactivated, you may not get the warning you need to stay in your lane, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the software for free, so you should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice. This is a free fix, and you don't have to pay a thing.
