What Happened
The passenger air bag in your Audi is designed to protect you in case of a crash. In some 2020-2021 models, the air bag's score line – a critical part of its design – wasn't made correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag doesn't deploy properly during a crash, you could be at risk of injury. In the worst case, the air bag could even send sharp plastic fragments flying into the passenger compartment, making things even more dangerous.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will check the air bag score line and fix it if it's not made correctly – at no cost to you. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you get the recall notice.
