Component
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM:FUEL RAIL
Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The fuel rail is a critical part in your Audi's engine, responsible for delivering fuel to the cylinders. In certain 2015-2018 A8, 2016-2018 Q7, and 2016-2018 A6 and A7 models, the fuel rails on both the left and right sides can crack and leak fuel.
Risk if Unfixed
If the fuel rail leaks and an ignition source is nearby, there's a serious risk of a fire breaking out. This could cause severe damage to your vehicle and potentially put you and others in harm's way.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace both the left and right fuel rails with new ones at no cost to you. The repair is completely free, and you should schedule it as soon as possible to ensure your safety on the road.
