Component
AIR BAGS:FRONTAL:PASSENGER SIDE:INFLATOR MODULE
Manufacturer

What Happened
The front passenger air bag in your vehicle is designed to protect you in a crash. However, in certain 2016 Audi models, this air bag may not work correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag explodes or deploys improperly, sharp metal fragments could hit you, causing serious injury or even death. An air bag that doesn't work correctly may not keep you safe in a crash, increasing your risk of getting hurt.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will replace the faulty air bag module with a new one at no cost to you. You should schedule this repair as soon as possible and follow the instructions in the letter you received on December 16, 2022.
