FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
The suction jet pump in your vehicle is a small part inside the fuel tank that helps control the flow of fuel. In certain 2015-2020 models, the seal on this pump can break down, causing fuel to leak into the evaporative emissions system.
Risk if Unfixed
If fuel leaks out of the charcoal canister and finds an ignition source, like a spark, it could ignite and cause a fire.
Free Fix
Your Volkswagen or Audi dealer will replace the faulty suction pump with a new one, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you receive the recall notice, and if you've already had a previous recall done, you'll need to have this new repair completed as well.

TIRES:PRESSURE MONITORING AND REGULATING SYSTEMS

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
Your vehicle's tire pressure monitoring system is a safety feature that alerts you when one or more tires are underinflated. However, in certain 2019-2021 models, this system may not detect a simultaneous loss of air pressure in all four tires.
Risk if Unfixed
If all four tires lose air pressure at the same time, your vehicle could experience a sudden loss of traction and handling, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Volkswagen or Audi dealer will update the tire pressure monitoring system software to fix this issue, free of charge. You should schedule the repair when you receive the recall notice, and you can contact the manufacturer's customer service for more information.
