Your 2024 Acura ZDX All-Wheel Drive vehicle's anti-lock brake system (ABS) control unit may malfunction, causing unexpected ABS activation and brake pressure release.

Free Fix
Acura will update the electronic brake control module software for free, either through an over-the-air update or at a dealership, and you've already been notified by mail.

Acura (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Acura ZDX All-Wheel Drive vehicles. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) may activate unexpectedly and release brake pressure in the vehicle's service brake system.

What Happened
Your 2024 Acura ZDX may have a problem with the bolts that hold the front stabilizer bar in place. These bolts might have been tightened incorrectly, which could cause them to come loose.

The passenger-side front stabilizer bar bracket bolts may have been improperly tightened, which can allow the bolts to loosen and separate from the vehicle frame. What Happened
The rearview camera in your vehicle is the image that shows you what's behind your car when you're reversing. In some 2024-2025 Honda Prologue and 2024 Acura ZDX models, the camera may display a distorted or blank image instead of a clear view of the area behind your vehicle.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera doesn't show you what's behind your car, you'll have a harder time seeing potential hazards like pedestrians or other vehicles, which could lead to a crash or injury.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the rearview camera with a new one, free of charge. You'll get a notice with more information, and they'll contact you again when the repair is ready, likely later this year.

Original — What Happened
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2024 Acura ZDX and Prologue vehicles. Due to a software error, the instrument panel display may fail. Additionally, a software error may cause the rearview camera to display a blank screen when the vehicle is in reverse. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 101, "Control and Displays," 111, "Rear Visibility," and 305, "Electric-Powered Vehicles."
