SEAT BELTS Safety Recalls

High Priority #25V638000 Plain English
Component

SEAT BELTS:FRONT:RETRACTOR

Manufacturer
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.
What Happened
Your vehicle's front seat belts have a mechanism called a torsion bar that helps control the belt's length. Unfortunately, this part might have been damaged during production in your 2025 model.
Risk if Unfixed
If the torsion bar fails in a crash, your seat belt might not work properly, putting you at risk of serious injury. This could happen even if the air bag deploys.
Free Fix
Your dealer will replace the faulty front seat belts, free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as possible and contact Audi or Volkswagen at 1-800-253-2834 or 1-800-893-5298 for more information.
