POWER TRAIN:AXLE ASSEMBLY

What Happened
The axle shaft in your Tacoma is like a long, strong rod that helps turn your wheels. In some 2022-2023 models, a small part of the axle might not be properly secured, which could cause it to break away.
Risk if Unfixed
If the axle shaft breaks, your vehicle could lose stability and brake performance, making it harder to control and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Toyota dealer will inspect your rear axle assembly, tighten the bolts to make sure everything is secure, and fix or replace any damaged parts — all at no cost to you. You should schedule the repair as soon as you get the recall notice.
