Component
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:ENGINE:GASOLINE
Manufacturer
TOYOTA MOTOR NORTH AMERICA, INC.
What Happened
Your engine's crankcase ventilation system might let in water, which can freeze in your intake manifold and affect your brakes.
Risk if Unfixed
If this happens, you might need to press the brake pedal harder, which could make it take longer to stop your vehicle, especially in cold weather or when driving in certain states.
Free Fix
Your dealership will fix the vacuum port for free, and if you live outside the affected states but drive there, they'll also service your vehicle for free.
