What Happened
The rearview camera display on your vehicle shows you what's behind your car when you're in reverse. In some 2018-2020 Fits and 2019-2022 HR-Vs, the display might not turn on when you start the engine.
Risk if Unfixed
If the rearview camera display doesn't work, you'll have reduced visibility behind your car, which could increase the risk of a crash when reversing.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will update the display's software for free. You should schedule this update as soon as you get the recall notice – it's a free repair.
