What Happened
The fuel pump in your vehicle is a critical part that delivers gasoline from the tank to your engine. In certain Honda models from 2013 to 2023, this pump could fail without warning.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pump fails, your engine could stall on the road, causing you to lose power steering and power brakes. This could make it difficult to control your vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the faulty fuel pump with a new one, at no cost to you. This repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2013-2023 Honda Accord, Civic Coupe, Civic Sedan, Civic Hatchback, Civic Type R, CR-V, HR-V, Ridgeline, Odyssey, Acura ILX, MDX, MDX Hybrid, RDX, RLX, TLX, 2019-2022 Honda Insight, Passport, 2020 Honda CR-V Hybrid, 2018-2019 Honda Clarity PHEV, Fit, and 2015-2020 Honda Accord Hybrid, Pilot, Acura NSX vehicles. The fuel pump inside the fuel tank may fail.

Dealers will replace the fuel pump module, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed September 6, 2024. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. Honda's numbers for this recall are KGC and KGD. This recall is an expansion of NHTSA recall numbers 21V-215 and 20V-314.

What Happened
The front passenger seat weight sensor in your vehicle is a small electronic component that helps the airbags decide whether to deploy during a crash. In some models, this sensor can crack and short circuit, causing the airbags to go off unexpectedly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the airbags deploy without a crash, you could be injured by the deploying airbags, or they could get in the way of your seatbelt, making it harder to escape the vehicle safely.
Free Fix
Your Honda dealer will replace the faulty seat weight sensor with a new one at no cost to you. The repair is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you receive the recall notice.

Original — What Happened
Honda (America Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2018-2020 Fit and 2019-2022 HR-V vehicles that were previously recalled under NHTSA recall number 23V-046. The rearview camera image may not display when the engine is started with a key, due to a design error in the audio display power circuit. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."
