What Happened
The air bag control module in your Audi Q7 is the computer that helps deploy the air bag in a crash. In some 2020-2021 models, the module might send the second stage of the air bag to deploy too quickly when a child is in the front passenger seat.
Risk if Unfixed
If a child is in the front passenger seat when the air bag deploys, the second stage could deploy too quickly, which could cause serious injury to the child.
Free Fix
Your Audi dealer will update the air bag control module with new software, completely free of charge. You should schedule the repair as soon as you hear from Audi.
