What Happened

The rear suspension system in your vehicle has a flexible line that connects the brake caliper to the master cylinder. In some 2019-2020 RAM 4500 and 5500 models, this line might be rubbing against a suspension part, causing excessive wear and potentially failing.

Risk if Unfixed

If the flexible line wears out, you could lose some or all of your rear brakes, which could lead to a crash, especially if you're driving downhill or in an emergency stop.

Free Fix

The manufacturer will inspect your vehicle's brake lines for wear and replace them with a new kit to prevent future damage. If needed, they'll also install a kit to modify the brake line mounting. This will be done at no cost to you.
