What Happened
Your vehicle may have a faulty air bag inflator that could explode in a crash, potentially causing serious injury or death.
Risk if Unfixed
If the inflator explodes, it could send sharp metal fragments into the driver or other occupants, causing serious injury or death.
Free Fix
Don't drive your vehicle until it's fixed. BMW will contact you and replace the passenger front air bag module for free, starting in March 2018.
