What Happened
The frontal air bag in your vehicle is designed to deploy in a severe crash to protect you. In some 2008-2012 models, this air bag might not inflate correctly during a high-speed crash.
Risk if Unfixed
If the air bag doesn't inflate properly, it could increase your risk of injury in the event of a crash. This is a serious safety issue that could lead to more severe harm.
Free Fix
Your Ford dealer will inspect and replace the driver's air bag module for free, if needed. You'll receive a notice with instructions on how to schedule the repair, and it's expected to start on June 13, 2016.
