What Happened
The passenger seat occupant sensing system in your vehicle helps the airbag control module decide if the passenger seat is occupied and how to deploy the airbags. If this system wasn't properly tested and calibrated, it might not work correctly.
Risk if Unfixed
If the system fails, the front passenger airbags might not deploy when they should, or they might deploy too aggressively, which could lead to serious injury in a crash.
