What Happened
Your vehicle's automatic transmission control module might have a problem with the outer race of the secondary shaft bearing, which could break and cause issues with the transmission.
Risk if Unfixed
If the outer race breaks, it could cause the engine to stall, and you might also be at risk of the vehicle rolling away when you put it in park, which could lead to a crash or serious injury.
Free Fix
Honda will update the transmission control module software for free at a dealership, and the recall started on August 27, 2011. You can contact Honda's customer service at 1-800-999-1009 for more information.
