What Happened
The brake master cylinder is a critical part in your Sentra's brake system. It helps you stop the vehicle by sending brake fluid to the right places. In some 2007-2008 models, the master cylinder may have a problem with the seal, causing brake fluid to leak into the brake booster.
Risk if Unfixed
If you ignore the warning light, one of your brake circuits could fail, making it harder to stop your vehicle. This increases the risk of a crash, which could put you and others in harm's way.
