What Happened
The brake tubes in the back of your vehicle help connect the rear brakes to the rest of the braking system. In some cases, they can rub against metal brackets near the steering column.
Risk if Unfixed
If the brake tubes wear down from rubbing, they could leak brake fluid. This would mean your brakes wouldn't work as well, making it harder to stop the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Hyundai dealer will adjust the brake tubes, add clips to keep them in place, and apply a protective coating to prevent corrosion. This repair is free of charge, and you should schedule it as soon as possible after receiving the recall notice.
