VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL:ACCELERATOR PEDAL

Manufacturer
Nissan North America, Inc.
What Happened
The part that controls how fast your Versa or Versa Note accelerates is the pedal under your foot. In some 2012-2015 Versa sedans and 2014-2015 Versa Notes, the trim panel in front of the pedal might catch your shoe, making it harder to switch from accelerating to braking.
Risk if Unfixed
If your shoe gets caught, it could delay your brake application, making it harder to stop quickly. This could increase the distance needed to stop and raise the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Your Nissan dealer will adjust the trim panel to prevent it from catching your shoe, and this repair is completely free. You'll get a notification with a schedule for the fix, and you should take care of it to stay safe on the road.
