What Happened

Risk if Unfixed
If the steering column breaks, you might experience extra play in the steering wheel or even lose steering altogether, which could increase the risk of a crash.
Free Fix
Nissan will replace the affected part on your vehicle for free, either the steering shaft or steering column assembly, depending on your vehicle type, at a dealership of your choice.
