What Happened
The crankshaft pulley bolt is a small metal piece that keeps your engine's pulley securely in place. In some cases, it can become loose and fall off while you're driving.
Risk if Unfixed
If the pulley falls off, you'll lose power steering assist, making it harder to steer your vehicle. This could lead to a crash.
Free Fix
Your Mitsubishi dealer will inspect the bolt, tighten it if it's loose, and replace it if it's damaged. This service is free, and you should schedule it as soon as you receive the recall notice.
